Seda: Thief of Nothing

After leaving college and re-focusing my attention on the Seda Universe, I began to develop ideas for another new story property that would take place some three or four hundred years in the future following Seda:Heir of Lies. That property would be developed to be a manga right off the bat and would go by the title: "Clay Soul Jogadi".

The title started off with a sports theme, using an insane version of beat-em-up volleyball as it's core IP feature. This concept eventually evolved however and after many iterations and revisions the story of Shale Luos the bounty hunter and the tragedy of his mother Asha--the "thief of life"-- was born.

This project was another milestone for me as it was the furthest I had taken the story of a massive IP to completion at the time. Also, the emphasis was less on the world and more on the characters. This is when I started to write from the perspective of characters creating the world and the story instead of the other way around. This led to the creation of more story specific locations and updates to the Seda Universe as a whole. It also added depth and richness to many of the locations and cultures that already existed in the world.

This project is still in the backlog and is waiting and ready to drop into production, but the sheer length of the story (100 + manga episodes) prevents me from committing to it at the moment. I will be putting it this into motion at some point. In the meanwhile, enjoy exploring the the world IP below.
