Seda Heir of Lies

The manga IP "Seda:Heir of Lies" started out as a video game IP titled "Seda:X²" that I developed before going to college. As soon as I entered school however, I found lots of like minded individuals (64 other students to be exact)to work with who helped me develop the project towards a full-fledged game prototype.

Although, in the end, the prototype was never "complete" this project was certainly a success on many fronts, including the world IP, game design process, and project management front. Who could imagine so many students could self organize and work towards a common goal with such clarity and passion for over 2 years, all on their own initiative. It's due to the history that I have with this property that I am dedicated to making sure that it eventually sees the light of day in some form (currently manga)so that all of the work and love that was put into it and the story of those students can be appreciated by all.

Just as important as the history of its development, Seda: Heir of Lies was also the first "Seda Story" that I created, which allowed me for the first time to flesh out a complete universe with it's own cosmology, mythology, history, races, and cultures. The work that I've done on this project marks one of the defining moments for me in my life as a storyworld developer and it is the project that I often find myself looking back to in order to learn new lessons about the projects I work on now.
